Warren Stickney
Founder and Principal Warren Stickney is passionate about serving people. Prior to founding Stickney Research in 1996, Warren headed the Estate Planning Division for six years at a Fortune 100 financial services company. The company was founded on a desire to help people fulfill their dreams and a passion for solving complex financial problems. Warren wanted to create a company small enough to be selective about the client relationships that the organization commits to serving.
Continuing education is also a cornerstone of the Stickney Research practice. Warren believes in all staff, as well as the client, having a thorough understanding of concepts and solutions implemented.
From classes on the teachings of Socrates at the Aspen Institute to The Economist forums, Warren spends over 60 days a year on continuing education to broaden his knowledge and offer clients a holistic approach to problem solving. He believes that knowledge is empowering and is intent on passing that power on to his clients to understand their financial past, present and future. Warren has a unique ability to take complex financial, business and estate planning concepts and simplify them for his clients.
In addition to his quest for knowledge, he is also passionate about his charitable endeavors. An active philanthropist, Warren supports several charitable organizations in the Puget Sound area and the US. He is has served for the past 10 years on the Board of Directors of the Pike Place Market Foundation and Anderson Ranch Foundation. Through his participation in the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Foundation, Warren has secured donations and grants for local and national charities.
Warren’s Professional affiliations include the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), Top of the Round Table and International Forum, and he has also been granted lifetime membership in MDRT and TOT, the Premier Associations of Financial Professionals. Warren has authored several reports and articles which have appeared in the Eastside Journal, the Seattle PI, and Physicians NW Magazine. He is a noted speaker to NAIFA, the Estate Planning Council, and various philanthropic organizations.
Warren’s hobbies include music, skiing and travel and he enjoys spending time with his family.
Jeannine Resteiner Citoli

When asked what she likes most about the business, Jeannie will reply “The Clients.” She enjoys helping solve problems and believes that everybody has different needs, therefore custom plans. Jeannie has been working with Warren since 1994 and since Co-Founding Stickney Research in 1997, she manages both the long-term strategic goals and day-to-day operations of Stickney Research.
She believes that team members should have in-depth knowledge as well as a passion for their area of expertise. Her feeling is that an individual’s unique ability paired with job tasks that complement that talent makes a team function well. The team concept is not limited to the staff; it is from this idea of partnership that Stickney Research has forged long-term relationships with clients.
Education has always been at the forefront of Stickney Research – both for clients and employees. Always keeping abreast of what is available, Jeannie attends several industry forums and meets with the nation’s top investment companies each year to research new products and concepts that may be useful in wealth planning.
Jeannie is an active member of both the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). In addition to her professional associations, Jeannie is also involved with fundraising for Bellevue Life Spring where she recruits others to “adopt a family” for the holidays. She supports the MDRT Foundation’s efforts for worldwide philanthropic causes, as well as national charities including Habitat for Humanity, the Red Cross, and the Humane Society. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her horses, gardening, and spending weekends on her farm in Oregon.
Meet Our Support Staff
Genevieve Teo
Client Services Manager
Gen brings international finance experience to Stickney Research, where she plays a key role in helping clients see their financial, estate, retirement, and charitable planning strategies carried through with care and precision. She values building strong, long-term relationships and serves as a dependable point of coordination for clients and advisors alike.
In her role, Gen is the point person for many of the firm’s client service and implementation details: setting up accounts, coordinating with CPAs, and tracking distributions. Her work reflects a strong commitment to accuracy, follow-through, and client confidence, particularly in the matters where details matter most.
Outside the office, Gen enjoys spending time at home with her family and her cats, and is rarely without a good book nearby. When she’s not at her desk, she can often be found at Izakaya Supa Banana, her husband’s restaurant, where she’s as much at home as she is in the office. On Tuesdays, one or two of her feline companions can often be found quietly keeping her company at work.
Moselle Campbell
Marketing Coordinator
Moselle helps translate complex financial topics into clear, thoughtful content for clients and the broader Stickney Research community. With a background in financial services and marketing, she focuses on creating articles and communications that feel relevant, approachable, and genuinely useful rather than just technically correct.
She’s particularly drawn to the firm’s commitment to charitable giving and education, and finds real meaning in helping communicate ideas that empower people to make decisions aligned with their values.
Outside of work, Moselle spends time with her kids, pursues photography, and stays engaged in community and advocacy efforts. She’s also deep into writing a fantasy novel, which turns out to be a natural extension of the storytelling she brings to her work.
Wendy O’Connor
Administrative Assistant
Wendy is often a client’s first point of contact with Stickney Research and plays an important role in helping people feel welcomed, supported, and confident from the moment they reach out. With more than a decade of experience at a tax firm, she brings genuine attention to detail and a steady ability to keep things running smoothly, even when a lot is moving at once.
Known for her thoughtful coordination and warm hospitality, Wendy supports the team behind the scenes while making sure clients always have a clear, comfortable point of contact. Whether she’s managing calendars, supporting meetings, or greeting visitors, she brings the same care and consistency to each.
Outside the office, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She’s an avid writer and spends her creative time working on screenplays.
Natalie Pugh
Operations and Bookkeeping
Natalie has been with Stickney Research for many years and provides essential operational and bookkeeping support to the firm. She began her time on the client service team, which gave her a strong foundation in how the firm’s work touches clients directly, before transitioning into operations, where she now works closely with firm leadership to ensure accuracy, consistency, and smooth day-to-day function.
Her institutional knowledge and steady presence make her a quiet but important anchor for the team, particularly in the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything else on track.
Outside of work, Natalie has studied to become a sommelier and enjoys spending time with her husband, their Shih Tzu, and her large, close-knit family. Weekly dinners with her mother and seven siblings are a tradition she looks forward to every week.
